As I suggested the idea the first comment must be mine I guess :) I think Russia is ready. Sure, we do have the problem of the corruption and that more energy is used to get money than to actually build the stadiums etc. But in the end, as it's always in Russia, everything is going to be ready for the Olympic Games and it'll be great. Right now, there are great Russian athletes for the Winter Games and I do hope that they'll win many Gold medals for us. In Western medias there is often the image of the failing Olympic games because of apparent homophobic atmosphere in Russia. It's not easy for sure, but by far not everyone is like that. It's impossible to generalise in a society. It may be a problem, but I think it'll be in the interest of everyone to have Sochi at its best, for the image and for the honour. Sadly, with extremist people there's not much any country can do. That is simple truth. But is Russia ready? Yes. I just wish we could bring the figure ice skating pair Totmianina - Marinin back to the sport. But that's a different story...
